Mobile Developer

About this role

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is hiring a Mobile Developer to create mobile applications that integrate with retail hardware in an AI-enhanced environment. The role requires in-office work in Durham, NC, five days a week, and is a six-month contract position with competitive hourly pay.

What you'll do

• Develop mobile applications using TypeScript, Flutter/Dart, and Kotlin for Android
• Integrate web applications with native device capabilities
• Maintain communication between Flutter and web content using JavaScript bridge
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and peer reviews
• Utilize AI coding assistants to enhance development and code quality
• Collaborate within a team-based structure

What they're looking for

• Experience with Flutter/Dart and Kotlin
• Understanding of WebView integration
• Familiarity with state management patterns like BLoC
• Basic knowledge of JSON and API communication
• Proficiency in GitLab workflows
• Interest in AI development tools
• Strong collaboration skills
• English proficiency
