About this role
Integrated Cable Systems is looking for a Mechanical/Application Engineer to design and develop wire harnesses and cable assemblies for aerospace and defense applications. The role requires a strong technical background in harness design, compliance with industry standards, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
- Design and develop wire harnesses and cable assemblies
- Create schematics and assembly drawings using AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical
- Conduct technical analysis to validate designs
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize manufacturability
- Generate and maintain technical documentation and BOMs
- Engage in cross-functional teamwork for sourcing and development

- Mechanical and electrical design proficiency
- AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical skills
- Understanding of aerospace harnessing standards
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience with harness testing and troubleshooting
