QA Engineer
About this role
Cicoil is seeking a QA Engineer in Valencia, CA, responsible for ensuring top-tier quality standards in aerospace manufacturing. The role includes leading compliance efforts, conducting root cause analyses, and serving as an acting Quality Manager when needed.
What you'll do
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional root cause investigations
- Serve as acting Quality Manager as needed
- Approve First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Develop inspection plans and procedures
- Mentor junior quality personnel
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Knowledge of aerospace industry standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Bilingual communication skills preferred
