About this role
The Cyber A&A Engineer will support cybersecurity assessments and authorizations under the Risk Management Framework by evaluating controls, identifying vulnerabilities, and handling documentation for system authorization. This role also encompasses responsibilities of an Information System Security Officer focused on compliance within Department of Defense environments.
What you'll do
- Process user account forms and training for system access
- Perform annual account validation and coordinate with administrators
- Assess systems for compliance with policies and configurations
- Conduct audits and vulnerability assessments
- Execute security assessments and system hardening
- Prepare and maintain authorization documentation

- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools
