Data Platform Engineer

Treeswift is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to enhance their data platform and develop scalable data pipelines. This role involves collaborating with various teams to tackle complex data requirements while contributing to innovative solutions in the energy sector.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain data pipelines at scale using Apache Airflow
• Collaborate with ML and hardware teams to improve data workflows
• Scale and enhance the data platform for reliability and observability
• Manage complex data ingestion from various sources
• Support the development of new workflows for utilities
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of data engineering or backend engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools like Airflow
• Familiarity with cloud storage (AWS, S3) and data-at-scale
• Comfortable with Kubernetes and container deployments
• Ability to own and manage work from design to operation
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Interest in learning Python on the job
