About this role
Trove Brands seeks a Mechanical Engineer to oversee existing product lines, drive quality and cost improvements, and support manufacturing scale-up for consumer goods like BlenderBottle and Owala. The role involves design optimization, supplier collaboration across Asia, and validation testing to ensure products meet performance and regulatory standards.
What you'll do
- Manage tooling and capacity planning for post-launch products in collaboration with forecasting and purchasing teams
- Monitor quality metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and resolve manufacturing issues with factory partners
- Conduct mechanical evaluation and validation testing to verify product performance and reliability
- Develop and implement product enhancements based on customer feedback and cross-functional input
- Create and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and design specifications using CAD tools
- Travel to Asian manufacturing facilities to engage with OEM partners and manage supply chain quality
