True Anomaly is looking for a Mid-Career Mechanical Engineer to join their spacecraft tooling and MGSE design team, focusing on designing and developing various aerospace tooling and systems. The role involves taking on responsibilities in mentoring and leading projects in the dynamic field of space security.
What you'll do
- Design tooling and MGSE for spacecraft assembly and testing.
- Develop and manage CAD models and technical documentation.
- Perform GD&T and tolerance analyses.
- Lead vendor coordination and inspections during fabrication.
- Mentor entry-level engineers and lead design reviews.
- Support root cause analyses on tooling issues.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 2-7 years aerospace tooling experience
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (CREO, NX)
- Strong GD&T knowledge
- Experience with vendor oversight
- Excellent communication skills
- U.S. citizenship or equivalent ITAR eligibility
