Operations Engineer III, Mission Operations

True Anomaly is seeking an Operations Engineer III to lead mission planning and execution for advanced spacecraft operations focused on national security. This role involves developing procedures, executing missions, troubleshooting anomalies, and conducting post-mission analysis to enhance operational processes.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute spacecraft missions from early-orbit to RPO tasks
• Develop and improve spacecraft operations procedures
• Monitor telemetry and spacecraft system health during operations
• Lead anomaly resolution and coordinate corrective actions
• Conduct post-mission analyses for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

• 5+ years of spacecraft operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
• Ability to coordinate across teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in high-pressure mission environments
• Subject matter expertise in flight and ground systems
• Eligibility for DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• Experience with astrodynamics tools
