Structural Dynamics Engineer (II or III), Spacecraft

True Anomaly is looking for a Structural Dynamics Engineer to support spacecraft and missile defense systems' structural analysis and validation. The role involves carrying out stress analyses, developing finite element models, and contributing to dynamic testing campaigns to ensure system performance in challenging environments.

What you'll do

• Analyze and validate structural systems for spacecraft and missile defense.
• Perform static and dynamic structural stress analyses.
• Develop and validate finite element models of structures and subsystems.
• Participate in dynamic testing campaigns to verify structural integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in structural dynamics analysis.
• Familiarity with FEA tools like FEMAP/NASTRAN.
• Understanding of dynamic environments including vibration and shock.
• Knowledge of structural mechanics and aerospace material properties.
