Cloud Security Engineer – Cleared (Polygraph)

About this role

TrueTandem is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to enhance cybersecurity efforts for U.S. Federal agencies, with a focus on Microsoft Azure security. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in threat detection and security analytics, particularly in alignment with Zero Trust principles.

What you'll do

• Architect and deploy cloud security solutions based on Microsoft CAF and Zero Trust principles.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Sentinel for security operations.
• Implement Azure Monitoring to identify security and compliance risks.
• Investigate threats in cloud environments and support incident response.
• Create KQL queries for security reporting and monitoring.
• Document security architectures and operational procedures.

What they're looking for

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Five years of Tier II or three years of Tier III cloud security experience
• Designing and deploying cloud security solutions in Azure
• Expertise in Microsoft Sentinel and Azure Monitoring
• Proficient in KQL for security analytics
• Understanding of Zero Trust concepts
• Strong troubleshooting and investigative skills
• Familiarity with federal cybersecurity compliance
