Manufacturing Engineer I, IT System Integration

Ultima Genomics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support IT system integration within their manufacturing engineering team in Fremont, CA. This role involves collaborating with R&D, managing software and firmware deployments, and troubleshooting various systems to enhance genomic technologies.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with R&D teams on software validation and improvements
• Manage new product transfers related to compute systems
• Create technical documentation for software and systems
• Troubleshoot OS, driver, firmware, and hardware issues
• Install and configure operating systems and applications
• Monitor server performance and address issues

What they're looking for

• BS in computer engineering or related field
• 1+ year in relevant experience
• Scripting in Bash and/or Python
• Linux, Unix, and Windows administration
• Server booting and hardware troubleshooting
• Understanding of network protocols
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift/move up to 45 lbs
