About this role

Valon seeks a founding Sales Engineer to lead technical validation and demos for enterprise mortgage servicing deals. You'll partner with sales leadership to translate complex product capabilities into customer-relevant solutions, combining deep technical fluency with consultative selling in the regulated finance space.

What you'll do

  • Partner with Strategic Account Executives through discovery, technical validation, and deal closure
  • Configure and deliver customer-focused product demonstrations using demo fixtures and data
  • Conduct technical discovery with enterprise prospects to understand requirements and pain points
  • Answer detailed technical questions about system architecture, configuration, and integrations
  • Translate field learnings into reusable demo assets, playbooks, and product feedback
  • Travel to client sites approximately 25% of the time
