Software Engineer

About this role

Valon is seeking a Software Engineer to help build an AI-native operating system transforming mortgage servicing and regulated finance. You'll work on scalable infrastructure handling complex financial regulations alongside experienced engineers from top tech companies, with flexibility to work from New York, San Francisco, or remotely.

What you'll do

• Learn new technologies rapidly and apply them to complex regulatory and business problems
• Design and build robust infrastructure that adapts to evolving federal, state, and agency regulations
• Develop deep understanding of the mortgage servicing industry and its technical challenges
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define optimal customer experiences
• Build scalable systems from the ground up with fast execution
