Applications Engineer - Pharma

About this role

Varda is looking for a Pharma Applications Engineer to lead the development and management of pharmaceutical applications within their innovative space infrastructure team. The role involves enhancing operational efficiency through automation, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Support lab systems and data automation for the pharma business unit
• Optimize ERP, CRM, ELN, LIMS, and QMS platforms for R&D and clinical pipelines
• Create internal applications to automate repetitive data tasks
• Design decision-support dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and Python
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with GxP and FDA regulations
• Develop and launch AI-powered tools for pharma workflows

What they're looking for

• Experience with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, QMS, LIMS)
• Proficient in SQL and a programming language (Python or JavaScript)
• Ability to create reports and dashboards in BI platforms
• Strong communication skills for technical documentation
• Experience in a pharma-regulated environment
• Familiarity with GxP regulations and FDA compliance
