Vast is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to support the design and development of power systems for artificial-gravity space stations. This full-time role in Long Beach involves ownership of various power electronics tasks from specification to validation.

What you'll do

• Oversee power electronics specification and architecture.
• Design circuits for power conversion and load switching.
• Conduct failure mode analyses and reliability testing.

• Bachelor's in electrical engineering
• 2 years of power electronics experience
• Problem-solving and risk assessment skills
• Knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition
• Programming in Matlab, Python, C/C++
• Familiarity with vehicle and instrumentation buses
• Full-lifecycle product development experience
• Ability to work in a startup environment
