What you'll do
- Design, build, and test solar ground support equipment
- Define requirements and trade architectures of solar arrays
- Select and qualify materials and vendors for solar arrays
- Develop processes for welding and adhesion of solar cells
- Test designs to AIAA S112 standards
- Interface with systems engineering and other teams for integration

- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field
- Experience in mechanical assemblies design and verification
- Knowledge of photovoltaics and composite structures
- Familiarity with AIAA space solar design standards
- Problem-solving and failure analysis skills
- Experience with CAD and analysis software
