Vast is seeking a Turbomachinery Engineer II to support the development of advanced propulsion systems for small launchers. The role involves designing, manufacturing, assembling, and testing high-performance engine components while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure successful production.
What you'll do
- Advance engine design and create models and drawings
- Support manufacturing processes for engine parts
- Assist in the assembly and testing of propulsion components
- Document processes and create schematics
- Participate in engine testing and troubleshooting
- Communicate progress and issues effectively with the team

- Mechanical design experience
- Hands-on engineering skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Proficiency in CAD (NX preferred)
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
