DevOps Engineer

Verifone is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Atlanta to manage and optimize their payment gateway infrastructure across various regions. The role involves proactive risk management, developing automation tools, and enhancing observability to ensure service reliability and performance.

What you'll do

• Identify and address platform risks in payment services
• Onboard services onto observability platforms like New Relic
• Configure Helm charts for applications on AWS EKS
• Build and maintain internal engineering tools for deployment
• Develop automation to improve engineering workflows
• Participate in on-call rotations for incident response

What they're looking for

• 3+ years in DevOps or platform engineering
• Proficient in Kubernetes and Helm
• Experience with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service
• Familiarity with observability tools
• Strong automation skills
• Ability to work in a 24/7 support environment
• Proficient in incident response
• Knowledge of software deployment pipelines
