Hardware/Software Asset Management Analyst III

Verisign seeks an experienced Hardware/Software Asset Management Analyst III to oversee the company's IT asset portfolio, managing licenses, warranties, and procurement to optimize value and minimize risk. The role involves tracking assets in ServiceNow/CMDB, conducting compliance audits, negotiating vendor agreements, and developing standardized processes across the technology asset management function.

What you'll do

• Manage hardware and software assets in the CMDB, tracking deployments, licenses, warranties, and renewals to minimize operational and compliance risk
• Conduct quality assurance audits and resolve discrepancies; monitor usage and compliance reporting to stakeholders
• Handle software and hardware renewal cycles, including purchase requisitions, vendor negotiations, and invoice validation
• Analyze asset data and processes to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities for cost reduction
• Respond to vendor audits, license inquiries, and deployment requests in a timely manner
• Document and improve TAM procedures, policies, and standards across the organization
