About this role
Verkada seeks an Enterprise Solutions Engineer in the Bay Area to serve as a technical expert supporting sales efforts into Fortune 500 companies. You'll design deployment solutions, overcome technical objections, and evangelize the company's integrated physical security platform across cloud, IoT, networking, and access control domains.
What you'll do
- Partner with account executives to expand Verkada's enterprise footprint and close technical deals
- Design and validate customer deployment architectures using Verkada's video security, access control, and IoT product suite
- Address technical objections and security concerns from IT and loss prevention stakeholders
- Present solutions to C-level executives and technical teams, tailoring messaging to audience expertise
- Train and educate partners and customers on Verkada's latest product offerings
- Travel 50%+ domestically and internationally to support customer and partner engagements
What they're looking for
- Sales engineering and customer technical engagement
- Cloud security architecture and best practices
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, DHCP, NAT
- IoT systems and physical security platforms
- Linux systems administration
- Active Directory, SAML/SCIM, and API integration
- Python or other programming languages
- Industry certifications: AWS, CCNA, Security+, or equivalent
