About this role
Verkada seeks frontend software engineering interns to build user experiences across React web and React Native mobile platforms for their AI-powered security platform. You'll work cross-functionally with product and design teams to ship features from conception to launch while contributing to products used by Fortune 500 companies globally.
What you'll do
- Build polished user interfaces for the Command web platform using React and mobile apps using React Native
- Lead projects independently from design through implementation
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to develop customer-focused features
- Create reusable components and implement pixel-perfect UI designs
- Contribute to the full software stack alongside experienced engineers

- JavaScript or TypeScript (contexts, prototypes, classes, closures)
- React or modern web frameworks (Angular, Vue)
- CSS and CSS pre-processors
- React Native for mobile development
