About this role
Verkada seeks a Mobile Software Engineering intern to develop native iOS and Android applications for their AI-powered security platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the full mobile development lifecycle, working with Swift or Kotlin to build features for enterprise security systems.
What you'll do
- Support the complete mobile application lifecycle from concept through release for iOS and Android apps
- Develop native features in Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android) in collaboration with backend teams
- Design, develop, and test solutions in iterative sprints
- Build automation and unit tests to improve development efficiency
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new features
- Work with backend server APIs to integrate mobile applications
