About this role
Verkada is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to assist its enterprise customers with a range of cloud-managed security products. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, educating customers, collaborating with engineering teams, and contributing to product improvement.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot Verkada's platform across network, hardware, and software
- Provide installation and configuration guidance to customers
- Communicate technical issues effectively to customers
- Manage customer concerns from initial report to resolution
- Collaborate with Engineering to identify and resolve product bugs
- Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles
What they're looking for
- Degree in Networking, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Communication skills for complex technical topics
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Teamwork experience
- Knowledge of Linux, coding languages, and electronics are advantages
- Industry certifications such as CCNP or Security+ are a plus
- Willingness to work on-site in San Mateo
