Verkada is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to assist its enterprise customers with a range of cloud-managed security products. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, educating customers, collaborating with engineering teams, and contributing to product improvement.

What you'll do

  • Troubleshoot Verkada's platform across network, hardware, and software
  • Provide installation and configuration guidance to customers
  • Communicate technical issues effectively to customers
  • Manage customer concerns from initial report to resolution
  • Collaborate with Engineering to identify and resolve product bugs
  • Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles

What they're looking for

  • Degree in Networking, IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Communication skills for complex technical topics
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Teamwork experience
  • Knowledge of Linux, coding languages, and electronics are advantages
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP or Security+ are a plus
  • Willingness to work on-site in San Mateo
