IT Systems Engineer 3

About this role

VIP is looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer 3 to enhance their IT Systems Team. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing complex systems with an emphasis on automation, security, and reliability.

What you'll do

• Achieve process automation using tools like Ansible and PowerShell
• Design and maintain systems across servers and virtual environments
• Troubleshoot incidents and resolve unique challenges
• Implement security measures and comply with SOC1 & SOC2 policies
• Collaborate with various teams and mentor junior engineers
• Research and deploy new technology tools and services

What they're looking for

• 5+ years in software/systems engineering
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Scripting and automation proficiency
• Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux servers
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and virtualization
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and methodologies
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Certifications like CCNA or CISSP are a plus
