Voyager Technologies seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize optical and optomechanical assembly, alignment, and testing processes. This role translates engineering requirements into repeatable production methods while supporting operations, quality, and program teams to achieve performance, cost, and delivery targets.
What you'll do
- Develop, document, and improve optical and optomechanical manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production controls
- Support new product introduction, prototype builds, pilot production, and production release activities
- Validate manufacturing processes to ensure safety, cleanliness, optical performance, and quality standards
- Collaborate with optical engineering, quality, supply chain, and program teams on technical challenges
- Design tooling, fixtures, and inspection methods for optical hardware assembly and alignment
- Sustain production operations and implement continuous process improvements
