About this role

Voyager Technologies seeks a Systems Engineer III to lead requirements development, verification planning, and risk management on Missile Defense Agency-aligned programs. You'll coordinate across propulsion, software, hardware, and test teams while maintaining MBSE artifacts and ensuring compliance with DoD standards in a mission-critical aerospace environment.

What you'll do

  • Lead system, subsystem, and interface requirements development with traceability to MDA standards throughout program lifecycle
  • Develop and manage verification plans, procedures, and compliance matrices for system-level validation
  • Conduct technical risk assessments, maintain mitigation plans, and track risk posture across the program
  • Support cross-functional coordination with propulsion, software, hardware, test, GNC, quality, and safety teams
  • Maintain MBSE artifacts using SysML and Cameo/MagicDraw for modeling and design documentation
  • Participate in formal design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and configuration management processes
