Waabi is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (NPI) in Pittsburgh, PA to oversee the APQP Program Management, ensuring smooth production starts and validating manufacturing processes. The role demands collaboration across teams while managing design for manufacturability and quality assurance within the assembly of autonomous vehicle components.

What you'll do

• Manage APQP for flawless Start of Production (SOP)
• Provide DFM feedback to enhance design maturity
• Validate component-level PPAPs for integration into assembly
• Lead mechanical assembly and integration of systems
• Develop and validate manufacturing process controls
• Conduct RCCA for assembly failures during manufacturing

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experienced in NPI & CM oversight
• Proficient in APQP & PPAP management
• Skilled in Solidworks and GD&T
• Expert problem-solver using 8D methodology
• Familiar with PLM tools for document control
• Understanding of various manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of metrology and inspection techniques
