About this role
This position seeks a Structural Bridge Engineer to enhance our presence in the Transportation Market in the Midwest. The ideal candidate will have civil engineering qualifications, extensive bridge design experience, and a PE license.
What you'll do
- Design transportation structures and bridges
- Prepare bridge design packages for MDOT, ODOT, and local agencies
- Collaborate with team members and work independently
- Perform structural analysis and ensure compliance with design standards
- Participate in employee resource and mentorship programs
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Four years of bridge design experience
- PE license
- NHI Bridge Inspection certification
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MicroStation
- Knowledge of AASHTO and DOT standards
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Self-motivated and organized
