Waymo is seeking a Silicon Emulation Engineer to enhance its autonomous driving technology through high-performance custom silicon development and system-level architectures. This role involves collaborating with various teams to simulate silicon designs, optimize testbenches, and support post-silicon bring-up and debugging.
What you'll do
- Collaborate on simulating silicon designs and software
- Design and optimize emulation testbenches
- Write synthesizable transactors for emulated designs
- Triage and root-cause failures in emulation
- Assist with post-silicon bring-up and debugging
- Build infrastructure to support the emulation user base
What they're looking for
- BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of silicon development experience
- Experience with hardware emulation platforms
- Proficiency in emulation approaches
- Experience with SystemVerilog
- Programming in C++, Python, or TCL
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of advanced design verification methods
