Software Engineer, Fleet Optimization

Waymo is seeking a Software Engineer to enhance fleet optimization through algorithm design and multi-disciplinary problem solving. The role involves collaboration across teams to develop critical tools and systems in support of their autonomous driving technology.

What you'll do

• Design and implement algorithms for fleet management problems
• Make design trade-offs based on real world challenges
• Analyze data to troubleshoot and identify opportunities
• Build and operate essential systems and tools

• Engage with non-technical stakeholders

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or relevant experience
• 5+ years of coding experience
• Proficiency in backend languages like C++ and Python
• Experience with optimization and algorithm design
• Familiarity with Google infrastructure
