Waymo is seeking a Software Quality Operations Specialist to enhance the reliability and safety of its autonomous driving technology. The role focuses on leveraging AI and ML to improve issue detection and quality assurance processes essential for scaling operations in new markets.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with Engineering to deploy ML and Gen-AI models
- Identify emerging issue trends using AI insights
- Document new policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Implement quality control processes for human and AI outputs
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Software Quality Operations
- Provide technical leadership to enhance workflows
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in AV Software Quality Operations
- Understanding of machine learning development lifecycle
- Experience in ML testing and validation
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts
- On-call availability for varying schedules
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic SQL knowledge (preferred)
- Competency in ML for robotics (preferred)
