Waymo is seeking a Software Quality Operations Specialist to enhance the safety and quality of its autonomous driving technology through AI-driven insights and machine learning models. This remote position will involve collaborating with engineering teams to improve issue detection and operational execution as Waymo expands its services.
What you'll do
- Partner with Engineering to design and implement ML and Gen-AI tools
- Identify emerging issues through AI insights and develop monitoring strategies
- Document policies and procedures for integrating AI into workflows
- Perform quality control checks on both human and AI outputs
- Lead technical consultations to enhance workflows and quality
- Escalate tool-related issues and support new feature development

- BS/BA degree or relevant experience
- Understanding of machine learning lifecycle
- Experience in ML testing and validation
- Quick learner of new concepts and tools
- Strong knowledge of driving rules and regulations
- SQL querying skills
- Competency in ML for robotics
