Forward Deployed AI Engineer

webAI is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to integrate innovative AI solutions in enterprise settings. This role involves working directly with clients to deploy and optimize AI systems, requiring at least 25% travel for on-site support.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with customers to implement and maintain AI solutions
• Optimize data pipelines and AI systems in production
• Translate customer needs into technical solutions
• Work across different technology stacks for deployment
• Analyze hardware performance to identify bottlenecks
• Act as a technical advisor for enterprise clients

What they're looking for

• 5+ years in software engineering and machine learning
• Experience with deployed machine learning systems
• Expertise in MLX and/or PyTorch
• Ability to debug complex data pipelines
• Strong communication skills
• Adaptability in dynamic customer-focused environments
