Full Stack Software Engineer, Applied AI

About this role

Wonderschool is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer focused on Applied AI to enhance their automation capabilities for a platform designed to help small business owners, particularly in childcare. The ideal candidate will contribute to creating a system where AI agents autonomously generate product requirements and code, streamlining operations across teams.

What you'll do

• Review and iterate on AI-generated code to improve agent performance
• Architect the codebase for clarity and maintainability for AI use
• Build and manage the automated product pipeline
• Diagnose and fix production issues
• Develop self-service tools for internal teams
• Create end-to-end features across frontend and backend

What they're looking for

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience
• Proficient in React/TypeScript and at least one backend language
• Experience with AI coding agents
• Strong product instincts and problem-solving skills
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases
• Excellent communication skills
• High ownership mentality
• Ability to translate user signals into technical requirements
