C++ Engineer

About this role

WorldQuant is looking for a skilled C++ Engineer to enhance and maintain their tick data processing platforms. The role involves collaboration with various teams to transition data needs to a modern system while ensuring adherence to high software standards.

What you'll do

• Maintain and enhance the legacy C++ tick data processing platform
• Contribute to the development of a new C++ tick data processing platform
• Support additional tick data feeds and new functionality development
• Collaborate with Research and Portfolio Management teams
• Facilitate transition from the legacy platform to the new platform

What they're looking for

• Proficiency in C++ (versions 11-23)
• Familiarity with CMake
• Experience with Perl and Python
• Knowledge of tick data and order book processing
• Understanding of SDLC and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in Git and JIRA
• Strong attention to detail
• Good English communication skills
