Frontend Developer

WorldQuant is seeking a Frontend Developer to create and maintain web applications that support their systematic financial strategies. The ideal candidate should possess technical expertise, a strong product mindset, and familiarity with AI tools to enhance development efficiency.

What you'll do

• Own features from ideation to delivery.
• Develop and sustain web applications with user-friendly interfaces.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with researchers and other developers.
• Anticipate and manage edge cases in applications.

What they're looking for

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js
• Experience with Python and web frameworks
• Strong UI/UX fundamentals
• Understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Experience with testing frameworks
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Unix/Linux
• Practical knowledge of SQL databases
