SpaceXAI seeks an OSP Engineer to design and document fiber optic infrastructure, creating precise construction drawings, route maps, and as-built records using AutoCAD and GIS tools. The role involves coordinating with engineering and construction teams to ensure compliance with industry standards while supporting field surveys and data conversion.

What you'll do

  • Design and revise OSP fiber drawings, conduit layouts, splice diagrams, and permitting packages in AutoCAD
  • Create and maintain GIS-based route maps, asset inventories, and spatial data for fiber infrastructure
  • Assist with field surveys, redline markups, and convert field data into final drawings and GIS layers
  • Support bill of materials development, quantity take-offs, and optical loss calculations
  • Coordinate with senior engineers, construction teams, and utilities on design updates and as-built records
  • Verify compliance with company standards, TIA/BICSI guidelines, and local permitting requirements
