xAI is looking for an Azure Security Engineer to enhance and secure their Azure Government environments. The ideal candidate will implement security strategies, ensure compliance with government regulations, and collaborate with various teams to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Design and manage security architecture for Azure Government deployments
- Configure Microsoft Defender for threat detection and vulnerability management
- Enforce identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID
- Secure network configurations with Azure Firewall and DDoS Protection
- Develop compliance policies with Azure Policy and Microsoft Purview
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response activities
What they're looking for
- Active U.S. security clearance
- 3+ years in cloud security or cybersecurity engineering
- Expertise in Azure security services
- Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Terraform)
- Understanding of compliance frameworks
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in hybrid/multi-cloud environments
