Join xAI as a Software Engineer on the Data team, where you'll develop scalable data platforms essential for training AI models. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure data quality and effective model performance.

What you'll do

• Develop a reliable and scalable enterprise data platform for model training
• Create features for data lineage, visibility, and monitoring
• Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews
• Build prototypes to validate design concepts
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Analyze business problems and implement efficient solutions

What they're looking for

• Python, Rust, Java, C#, Scala, Go or similar programming
• Frontend development with Angular, React or similar
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
• Familiarity with AI training orchestration tools
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
• Experience with data visualization tools like Grafana
• Understanding of version control and CI/CD practices
• Basic knowledge of statistics and machine learning
