Xometry is looking for an Associate Solutions Engineer to provide technical support and solutions within the Aerospace & Defense sector. This entry-level position involves collaborating with various teams and assisting in the development of manufacturing solutions and documentation.
What you'll do
- Provide technical support for quoting and documentation.
- Assist in cost-modeling and quoting-tool development.
- Coordinate with suppliers and track quality documents.
- Engage in cross-functional learning to understand solution lifecycle.
- Lead process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate best practices in manufacturing disciplines.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Foundational knowledge in manufacturing principles
- 3-5 years engineering/manufacturing experience
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Familiarity with CNC Machining and Additive Manufacturing
