Yugabyte is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their remote team, focusing on providing high-quality support for their distributed PostgreSQL database, YugabyteDB. The ideal candidate will work on complex technical issues during weekend shifts, proactively troubleshooting and documenting solutions for enterprise customers.
What you'll do
- Manage and resolve technical support tickets from enterprise clients
- Investigate and diagnose system incidents by analyzing logs and running queries
- Document internal notes and handover procedures for continuity
- Attempt to replicate customer issues for better understanding
- Escalate issues to engineering with appropriate evidence
- Contribute to the knowledge base for improving future problem handling
