Electrical Engineer V/VI

Zone 5 Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer V/VI to spearhead the design and optimization of advanced electrical systems for unmanned aircraft systems. The role involves leading projects, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in UAS technology.

What you'll do

• Lead electrical system design and development for UAS platforms
• Manage projects ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
• Develop complex microcontroller systems and circuit designs
• Oversee wire harness production and documentation using Altium
• Collaborate with engineers for seamless system integration
• Mentor junior engineers and provide troubleshooting expertise

• Expertise in Altium and circuit design tools
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuits and power systems
• Strong leadership and project management abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to resolve non-conformance issues
• Understanding of CAN bus communication
