About this role

Zone 5 Technologies is seeking an RF Engineer IV/V/VI to lead the design and integration of RF and antenna systems for unmanned aircraft systems. The ideal candidate will develop high-performance communication architectures while collaborating with various engineering disciplines throughout the product lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Design, model, simulate, and integrate RF and antenna systems across multiple frequency bands.
  • Define RF system requirements and guide architecture decisions through analysis.
  • Conduct RF analyses including link budgets and antenna patterns.
  • Develop and validate RF/data link models and simulations.
  • Collaborate with teams across Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software, and Test.
