Systems Integration and Test Engineer I/II

About this role

Zone 5 Technologies is seeking Systems Integration and Test Engineers to enhance unmanned aircraft systems through hands-on integration and testing. The role involves collaborating in diverse teams to troubleshoot and validate new technologies prior to their production release.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) test environments.
• Integrate and support various avionics and control hardware.
• Execute simulations and validate model-based tests.
• Assist with mechanical assembly of test rigs.
• Document test results and help troubleshoot issues.
• Support wiring and testing of communication protocols.

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering fields.
• Basic understanding of embedded systems.
• Exposure to lab/test environments.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink preferred.
• Hands-on hardware experience.
• Knowledge of UAVs or robotics.
• Testing and debugging skills.
