About this role

9th Way Insignia seeks a DevSecOps Engineer (Level 3) to design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines and automation for the VA's Cybersecurity Operations Systems Engineering program. You'll integrate security controls throughout the software development lifecycle, manage cloud-native deployments, and establish hardened configuration standards across enterprise and cloud environments.

What you'll do

  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls and automated testing gates
  • Automate security testing, compliance checks, and vulnerability identification throughout the SDLC
  • Develop deployment automation scripts and configuration-management solutions for consistent hardened deployments
  • Support cloud-native DevSecOps solutions including secure build, test, and operational processes
  • Integrate cybersecurity tools into pipelines to detect security issues early; manage container security and infrastructure hardening
  • Lead security assessments, vulnerability management, and incident-response activities for applications and infrastructure
