About this role

A remote Cybersecurity Engineer role focused on managing endpoint security, identity controls, and cloud platform safeguards across Accela's infrastructure. You'll independently handle security operations, vulnerability management, and compliance activities while partnering with IT and DevOps teams to maintain enterprise security standards.

What you'll do

  • Manage endpoint security and compliance across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments including EDR, antivirus, disk encryption, and MDM
  • Administer identity and access controls including Active Directory, SSO, MFA, conditional access, and account provisioning/deprovisioning
  • Monitor and triage alerts from SIEM and EDR platforms, perform technical investigations, and escalate complex findings
  • Review vulnerability scan results, assess severity and exploitability, coordinate remediation with system owners
  • Own security technology implementation workstreams including planning, testing, configuration, and pilot rollouts
  • Develop PowerShell, Bash, or Python automation to reduce manual work and improve operational consistency
