Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Summary: InterviewChamp.AI does not sell personal information for money, nor share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California consumers have no “sale” or “share” to opt out of, because none occurs. This page exists so the right to confirm that is readily visible.

1. Your CCPA / CPRA Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it.
  • Request a copy of your personal information (right to access).
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

2. We Do Not Sell Your Data

InterviewChamp.AI does not sell personal information for monetary consideration under any definition of “sale” in the CCPA/CPRA.

3. We Do Not Share Your Data for Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising

We do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising (the CCPA/CPRA definition of “share”). We do not run retargeting, behavioral ad networks, or advertising pixels.

4. Service Providers Who Process Your Data

We use subprocessors to deliver the service (AI model providers, hosting, database, payment processing, transcription, analytics). These parties are bound by contract to use your data only for the purposes we instruct and not for their own commercial purposes. The full list is in our Privacy Policy, Section 3.

5. How to Exercise Your Rights

You can exercise most CCPA/CPRA rights directly from your account:

  • Access / portability: Profile → Account → Download My Data returns a full machine-readable JSON export of everything we store about you.
  • Correction: Profile → Edit Profile lets you update name, email, and target role.
  • Deletion: Profile → Account → Delete Account erases your profile, sessions, resumes, documents, and cover letters with double confirmation.
  • Opt out of analytics: click the Cookie preferences button and choose “Reject non-essential”, or enable Do Not Track in your browser.

You can also email requests to [email protected]. We respond within 45 days as required by law.

6. Authorized Agents

You can designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require written proof of authorization and verify your identity before disclosing or deleting information.
