Automation Test Engineer

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks an Automation Test Engineer to design and implement comprehensive test automation solutions for federal government clients. You'll leverage testing expertise and programming skills to build automation frameworks, identify testing opportunities, and ensure software quality across defense and national security projects.

What you'll do

• Identify and analyze opportunities suitable for test automation implementation
• Develop automation components and modules using industry-standard tools and programming languages
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration
• Execute automation test scripts, log defects, and support issue resolution
• Plan and estimate test automation solutions for client projects
• Support quality engineering efforts across software delivery initiatives

• Test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Worksoft Certify, HP UFT/BPT, Tricentis Tosca)
• Programming languages (Java, C#, Python, VB, Ruby, VBScript)
• API testing
• Test automation framework design and development
• Software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
• CI/CD integration and deployment
• ISTQB certification or AI-driven testing tools knowledge
• Quality assurance processes (functional, regression, system testing)
