Custom Software Engineer

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks full-stack software engineers to develop cloud management and governance solutions for U.S. government clients. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies on AWS and Azure using Agile practices, collaborating with senior leaders to deliver high-impact, secure applications.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain complex software systems including analytics, algorithms, and large-scale data processing
• Design, implement, and integrate cloud-native software applications on AWS and Azure
• Ensure quality control and conduct testing throughout the development lifecycle
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables
• Recommend new technologies and processes for software projects
• Collaborate with architecture leads using CI/CD and two-week Agile sprints

• Java, Python, C++, Go, or Ruby programming
• Object-oriented software design
• Docker and containerization
• Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline management
• AWS (EC2, CloudWatch, VPC) and/or Azure cloud platforms
• Microservices and event-driven architectures
• Secure API development with OAuth, JWT, SSO
• Git version control and GitLab or similar platforms
