About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Data Engineer to design and maintain core data infrastructure and pipelines for federal government clients. You'll build end-to-end automated data solutions, optimize storage, ensure data quality, and collaborate with data scientists and security teams to support analytics and mission-critical operations.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure and automated end-to-end pipelines for data ingestion, processing, transformation, and storage
- Create and maintain data models, schemas, and implement data processing frameworks and technologies
- Design and optimize data storage solutions and develop transformation logic to support analytics
- Implement data quality checks, validation procedures, and data lineage tracking mechanisms
- Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and security teams on data requirements and protection measures
- Document data architecture, participate in data governance activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes
